CharityVision Somalia and SOMSA screened 52 patients for diabetic retinopathy at Siman Hospital.
On 1 September 2026, CharityVision Somalia, with participation from SOMSA (Somali Medical Students Association), conducted a Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) Screening Program at Siman Hospital, Mogadishu. 52 patients were screened for diabetic retinopathy, aiming for early detection of diabetes-related eye issues and enhancing eye care services for diabetic patients.
