Mogadishu, Somalia – 3 May 2026 The Somali Medical Students Association (SOMSA), in partnership with JUSU – Jazeera University Students Union, successfully conducted the “Stop the Bleeding” Seminar, a valuable educational program dedicated to raising awareness and strengthening emergency response skills. The seminar focused on the recognition and management of severe bleeding, emphasizing practical life-saving interventions that can be applied before professional medical assistance arrives. Participants were provided with essential knowledge and hands-on skills designed to help save lives during emergencies and traumatic incidents. The event also highlighted the importance of community preparedness, first-aid awareness, and the role of students in promoting public health and safety.
