SOMSA and the Somali ADHD Foundation co-organized a successful community seminar on recognizing and managing ADHD.
The meeting on "Understanding ADHD in Somali Mothers and Girls," jointly organized by the Somali Medical Students Association (SOMSA) and the Somali ADHD Foundation (SAF), concluded successfully and peacefully. The meeting focused on understanding ADHD, identifying its symptoms, and supporting families and communities living with individuals with ADHD. Mothers, women, health experts, politicians, and honored guests attended, strengthening community awareness and understanding of ADHD in Somali society.
